The Bagpipe Society

Bagpipe Society Code of Conduct

We want to ensure a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment at all activities organised by the Bagpipe Society, this includes the Blowout Festival and online spaces run by the society e.g. the Forum and Facebook page.

We expect everyone participating in our activities to respect committee members, staff, and fellow visitors and participants.

We will not tolerate aggressive, discriminatory, disruptive, harassing or offensive behaviour.

If you witness or experience behaviour you are uncomfortable with, please speak to, or contact, a member of the committee who will ensure that this is dealt with and followed up appropriately.

We reserve the right to take action if we believe any individual is not acting in an appropriate manner or complying with the above terms – this includes refusing admission to the venue or activity, or asking people to leave the premises or activity, and taking appropriate action to enforce this.
